Medical Advisor / Medical & Scientific Relations Manager (m/w/d)
  • Build and develop enduring peer-to-peer relationships with HCPs and institutions, creating constructive cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to meet the companies medical needs across our medicines’ lifecycle
  • Provide high-quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests for information
  • Ensure customer intelligence and customer findings are fed back into the organisation to generate customer insights and leverage medical opportunities
  • Support disease area medical strategies by providing support for the implementation of local non-interventional studies, following up on independent research opportunities, supporting feasibilities for phase 1-4 studies, support in the management of local advisory boards, interaction with local clinical investigators and other key medical and scientific activities
  • Work with the Patient Solutions Center of Excellence to provide medical support and insights to develop and pilot innovative / digital projects in Austria and across the Western European Cluster
  • MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent
  • >2 years’ experience in medical affairs roles highly desirable
  • Fluency in German and fluency in business English.
  • An in-depth knowledge of immunology and inflammatory diseases and relevant medicines
  • An understanding of the compliance framework for medical interactions in relation to local regulation
  • A good understanding of clinical research and the ability to critically evaluate clinical study protocols, reports and publications
  • Strong presentation and networking skills

  • High degree of cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to communicate clearly information and concepts which may be complex in nature
  • Good understanding of the local health care environment at national, regional and local level
  • Good knowledge of pharmacovigilance and regulatory legislation and how it impacts the product portfolio
  • Good knowledge of drug development
  • A knowledge of health economics and its impact on medical decision making
For this position you will receive a gross monthly salary from EUR 3,750.00 (full time).

Place of work: Vienna or remote anywhere in Austria
Type of employment: full-time or part-time from 30 hours per week
Expected start date: immediately, temporary position until September 2021
